Huge Star Wars cosplayer gathering takes place at L.A. Comic Con

A large group of Star Wars cosplayers showed up at L.A. Comic Con over the weekend! L.A. Comic Con is known for having tons of cosplayers at their event. But this year the Star Wars cosplayers came out in full force.

Los Angeles Comic Con is one of L.A.’s largest pop culture events. And when it comes to genres like comics, gaming, sci-fi, and pop culture in general, it’s definitely the largest. From December 2nd to the 4th this event welcomed 126,600 attendees and hosted celebrity talent from film, television, and comics.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian alums among guests

The large turnout of Star wars aficionados could have been due to the fact that Star Wars: The Mandalorian alums were guests at the con. The Mandalorian took Disney+ by storm and has become tremendously popular during its first two seasons. Ming-Na Wen (Fennec Shand) and Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon) appeared together on the Main Stage, told stories from being on set together, and took questions from the audience.

Star Wars Cosplayer gathering at L.A. Comic Con

The Star Wars Cosplayer gathering at L.A. Comic Con was impressive to see. Cosplayers lined up in incredible cosplays over dozens of stair steps and grouped together as best as they could for a group photo. What made this group gathering really special was the age ranges of the cosplayers. People of all ages and abilities gathered together to celebrate the Star Wars fandom.

If you are a cosplayer or someone who enjoys organizing cosplay meet-ups, one of the big advantages of attending a con at the Los Angeles Convention center is the setup of the South Hall Lobby. Unlike many other convention centers in Southern California, the Los Angeles Convention Center offers a large indoor lobby area with protection from bad weather, tons of excellent lighting, and space to move around.

It also offers plenty of staircases where cosplayers can line up and pose for group photos without blocking people from moving about the convention center. Making it one of the best places to stage meet-ups and group photos. L.A.Comic Con will return in December 2023.
