Marvel At D23 2026: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event Guide

Marvel is back at D23 2026: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event! If you’re a comics or MCU fan, you’re in for some great panels, creator signings, and sneak peaks. Let’s take a look at the schedule!

Marvel D23 2026 Panels & Events

The vast majority of the Marvel related panels at D23 2026 will take place on Friday and Saturday of the event.

Friday, August 14

Marvel Fanfare kicks things off for comics fans on Friday. Taking place on the Backlot Stage from 10:15am-11:15am, the panel will focus on the comics adventures of Spider-Man. Former Marvel Comics Editor in Chief and now Editor, Asia Originals C.B. Cebulski will take the stage. Alongside him will be Spider-Man Editor Nick Lowe. The pair will discuss Spidey’s upcoming 65th anniversary taking place next year. Attendees of the panel will receive an exclusive comic.

For the cosplayers, D23 will be hosting a Marvel Cosplay Meetup. Attendees can come dressed in their Marvel best from 12:15pm-1:15pm outside the Anaheim Convention Center by the Grand Plaza Fountain.

While not solely focused on Marvel, the Disney Music Presents: The Art of the Score panel will be hosted by Michael Giacchino. He has composed scores across many Disney projects, but his work for Marvel includes “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”, “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”, and many, many others. Giacchino will take the audience through his process of writing these iconic scores. You can catch this panel from 12:45pm-1:45pm on the Walt Disney Archives Stage.

Later in the day and available to fans with afternoon-only tickets is Future of Digital Comics: Disney, Marvel, & WEBTOON. From 4:30pm-5:30pm on the Hyperion Stage, the panelists will explore how comics are being re-imagined for WEBTOON’s “immersive, mobile-first vertical format”.

Friday Evening: Disney Entertainment Showcase

Of course Friday evening brings the Disney Entertainment Showcase at the Honda Center from 7pm-9pm. While this presentation will cover all corners of Disney’s movies and TV shows, there is sure to be Marvel news and first looks. Marvel’s presentation will likely be very similar to whatever they bring to San Diego Comic Con’s Hall H, but fans at D23 will get their chance to see exclusive clips and trailers here, too.

In 2024, Marvel brought looks at “Fantastic Four: First Steps”, “Daredevil: Born Again” season 1, and more. This year, fans will likely get glimpses at “Doomsday”, “VisionQuest”, and “Daredevil: Born Again” season 3. Marvel’s upcoming animated shows and seasons may also get a look at this presentation, as there is not a seperate panel for those this year.

Remember that the Honda Center presentations are only included in the “Ultimate Fan Pass” ticket types. Fans who bought this ticket type will have already selected their assigned seat for these evening presentations.

Saturday, August 15

Marvel’s D23 2026 offerings on Saturday kick off with Celebrate 65 Years of Marvel’s Spider-Man! Taking place on the Premiere Stage from 1pm-2pm, this panel will explore the many corners of pop culture that Spidey has existed in over the past 6-and-a-half decades.

Tom Holland shows off the new Spider-Man suit for "Brand New Day"
Marvel at D23 2026 will celebrate 65 years of Spider-Man, including a discussion about Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Interestingly, the panel description does specifically mention “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”. Whether that means we’ll get a glimpse of Peter Parker’s future in the MCU or not remains to be seen. Sony usually does their own announcements and events for the live-action movies, but who knows? If they have something to announce but don’t want to drop spoilers at SDCC, this may be the place to do it.

The panel will also talk about Spider-Man’s many animated TV shows and the upcoming 1,000th issue of “The Amazing Spider-Man” comic series. Fans will get to go behind the scenes and get some sneak peaks into upcoming releases, too.

Over on the Walt Disney Archives Stage from 4:45pm-5:45pm, Marvel has another presentation. Check out Disney | Marvel: A Legacy of Stores pres. by M&M’S. Marvel creatives and Disney archivists have teamed up to explore classic stories and fun crossovers in the comics. Attendees of this panel will get M&M’S and a “Marvel Mini Poster Fan Packs” giveaway.

Saturday Evening: Disney Experiences Showcase

Saturday evening brings the Disney Experiences Showcase to those attending the Honda Center presentations. This year, the showcase will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris and be inspired by the Carousel of Progress! But what does that mean for Marvel fans?

The Experiences Showcase is usually mostly focused on news surrounding the Disney Parks. For those most interested in the US-based parks, this will mean news and updates for Avengers Campus. In 2024, this showcase brought fans news on the long-planned expansion. This included details of the two new rides. With construction now well underway, fans may get a better look at both “Avengers Infinity Defense” and “Stark Flight Lab”. Perhaps we’ll even get a rough idea of when this expansion will open.

For the overseas Disney parks, this was also where projects like Shanghai Disney’s Spider-Man rollercoaster and additions to Hong Kong Disneyland’s Stark Expo were announced. Updates on these projects are also likely.

In the past, this showcase has also featured news about video games that fall under the Disney umbrella. Fans could get a new look at Insomniac Games’ upcoming “Wolverine” game, for example. “Fortnite” also had a presence in the 2024 showcase.

Of course there’s also room for completely new announcements. Perhaps Walt Disney World will be getting a new Marvel ride? Or a brand-new Marvel video game could be announced? A teaser for an upcoming season of “Marvel Rivals”? We’ll just have to wait and see!

Returning from D23’s 2024 event, Marvel will once again bring attendees into the Time Variance Authority. Marvel Studios’ TVA Experience: Your Next Assignment is a huge walkthrough experience for MCU fans. The activation promises a look at “different worlds, both familiar and new.” In 2024, fans could interact with characters such as Rocket Raccoon and get a look at MCU props and costumes.

MCU fans looking forward to “VisionQuest” later this year should plan on visiting the Disney+ Hulu Experience. This pavilion will feature a 4D theater and immersive photo ops. Featured projects include “The Simpsons”, “Percy Jackson”, and, of course, “VisionQuest”. D23 is going to use a reservation system for the 4D theater experience.

Elsewhere on the show floor, M&M’S will have a fun Marvel-themed booth. Fans will get a glimpse at the M&M’S characters auditioning for roles in the MCU. There will be photo ops, mini poster giveaways, and free M&M’S. A nice little chocolatey pickup during your con day!

For Disney Parks and MCU fans, it may also be worth a trip to Imagineering: Horizons. This will be Imagineering’s biggest-ever booth at D23. In 2024, their pavilion included a few tiny sneak peeks of the Avengers Campus expansion coming to California Adventure. Who knows what Marvel goodies they’ll bring to D23 2026?
