New teaser for “Descendants: The Rise of Red” introduces the cast. Kylie Cantrall plays Red, the rebellious daughter of the Queen of Hearts. Malia Baker takes on the role of Chloe, Cinderella and King Charming’s daughter.
In the movie, Red and Chloe must team up to travel back in time and stop the Queen of Hearts from taking over Auradon. The film also stars Brandy as Cinderella, Rita Ora as the Queen of Hearts, China Anne McClain as Uma, and Melanie Paxson as Fairy Godmother. Like the other “Descendants” movies, The Rise of Red features new original songs, reprises, and a cover of “So This Is Love” from “Cinderella.” The soundtrack will be released on July 12th.

Disney has graced us with our first look at Malia Baker and Kylie Cantrall suited up as Chloe and Red, respectively. Obsessed doesn’t even begin to describe it – these leading ladies are rocking their looks!
Chloe’s jacket and Red’s shirt with High Star symbols look amazing! But the real fun is the musical numbers! Think singing, dancing, parkour, acrobatics, and exciting stunts! (Don’t try them at home!) 7 new songs, 2 reprises, and a “So This Is Love” cover make for a musical treat!
Descendants: The Rise of Red is executive-produced by Suzanne Todd and Gary Marsh. The film is directed by Jennifer Phang, with a script written by Dan Frey and Russell Sommer. The movie will be available to stream on Disney+ starting July 12th.
