“The Mighty Nein” is less than a week away. The political espionage thriller explores a new era and continent of Exandria. Set during the brewing conflict between the Kryn Dynasty and the Dwendalian Empire, the animated series brings together a ragtag group of criminals, misfits, and outsiders. With political pitfalls and deadly decisions at every turn, they will be forced to step up and try to stop the war before it’s too late.

To give fans a quick rundown of these characters and this world, Temple of Geek has released our series, “Nine Days Until The Mighty Nein.” In our previous episodes we introduced Fjord Stone, Jester Lavorre, Beauregard Lionett, and Caleb Widogast. Meet Nott The Brave Of The Mighty Nein

In episode 5 we are introducing Nott The Brave. Nott is played by Sam Riegel, who plays Scanlan Shorthalt in “The Legend of Vox Machina” and Campaign 1. She is a goblin rogue, specifically an arcane trickster rogue. Nott is skilled with tonics and potions while also being interested in magic. From what we know in Campaign 2, Nott struggles with self-loathing and a very serious drinking problem.

She deeply hates goblins and often sees many of the actions they take as disgusting. Nott was shuffled between many jobs when living in a goblin clan before being stuck with one of the worst. She was the assistant to the interrogator (torturer). However, Nott eventually left the clan, striking out on her own. Her penchant for stealing, while helpful and potentially lucrative, often gets her into trouble, landing her in jail.

This is where she meets Caleb Widogast. The pair work together to escape and decide to team up, becoming a petty crime duo. Their bond grows, and they grow into close friends, relying on and protecting each other. They run into a motley crew of misfits, and even with some bumps in the road, they soon become the Mighty Nein.
