With the bustling activity surrounding the Oscars, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the City of Los Angeles have finalized street closures around this year’s Oscar ceremony.
The 96th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood. Uniting over 10,500 film luminaries, the Academy recognizes and celebrates all facets of moviemaking through renowned awards and its vast film museum.
Street closure plans around the Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood
To ensure public safety, support security strategies, and facilitate the production of this year’s Oscars®, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the City of Los Angeles have finalized street closure plans around the Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood. Keep in mind that all lanes are closed from Orange Drive to Highland Avenue, starting Thursday, February 29th at 12:01 AM until Wednesday, March 13th at 6:00 AM. No access to Hollywood Boulevard between Orange Drive and Highland Avenue from February 29th to March 13th.
MTA re-routing bus traffic
Please note that between the last scheduled train on Saturday, March 9th, and the first scheduled train on Monday, March 11th, MTA bus routes will be rerouted and subway trains will bypass the Ovation Hollywood station. Service will resume after the first scheduled train on Monday, March 11th.
Specific streets and sidewalks will be closed
