ON THIS EPISODE

Portrait of a Fangirl is their passion project of Monica and Emily. At the core of the project is the necessity of telling the stories of women who have found inspiration, growth, and power through fandom. We’re very excited to share that we will be releasing six webisodes on the Temple Of geek website about several inspiring women and how their diverse and fascinating fandoms have participated in enriching their lives, both professionally and personally.

On this episode, Emily and Monica discuss how they came up with this project, their inspiration, where it is started and what it is evolving into. They share their insight into why these stories are important to tell.
