CYBERPUNK 2077 DELAYED

Fans of video games get very upset when anticipated games get delayed. Is there ever a good reason for a game to be delayed? How about if a game runs poorly on the systems it is supposed to be released for?

Cyberpunk 2077, one of the most anticipated games of 2020, is now delayed to a September release window with developer CD Projekt Red stating that they need this time to polish the game. A polish insider by the name of Borys Niespielak, is stating that this is not actually the case.

Speaking during a podcast, Niespielak reveals that the game is not running properly on the original Xbox One hardware due to the system not being powerful enough. He also mentions that if things were not fixed by January 2020, the game would have to be delayed. This information will have to be taken with a grain of salt due to the reliability of the source but if this is true, it may be time to upgrade your hardware.

WHO ARE THE REBELS?

Amanda Rosowski cut her teeth on her dad’s old Tandy before graduating to SNES and beyond. An accomplished guild leader in multiple titles and sucker for console RPGs; Amanda spends most of her free time with a bit of tech in her hands. With a life philosophy derived from a Spock quote and more passport stamps then shoes; she is a well-traveled nerd with the urge to pontificate.

Stacy Bishop dabbles in the dark side of the force and uses science to teach students to be Batman. When not speaking science he is scouring the internet for information that will probably spoil his favorite movie before it comes out. Little happens in the respective worlds of Star Wars or Batman that he is not aware of. And Han shot first.
