VIZ Media will be hosting the world premiere screening of the manga series Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead at Anime Expo 2023.
Anime Expo (AX) was founded in 1991 by the members of UC Berkeley’s anime club, Cal Animage Alpha. The convention has grown drastically over the years and is now one of the largest events to take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
However, despite its amazing growth, the core goal has remained the same: to provide attendees with a fun and memorable experience. Each year, AX brings together fans and industry professionals from Japan, the US, and all over the world for the largest celebration of Japanese pop culture in North America.
Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead World Premiere
Saturday, July 1st from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, VIZ will be hosting the world premiere screening of the manga series Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead at Petree Hall. The event will feature a deep dive into the drawing process of the series by special guest Kotaro Takata, the mangaka behind Zom 100. Attendees will also have the opportunity to score some sweet freebies.
In case you can’t make it to the world premiere, there is an encore presentation screening on Sunday, July 2nd from 1:30 – 2:00 PM in Room 403. There will also be a signing that same day with manga artist and creator Kotaro Takata. The signing will take place in Kentia Hall from 2:45 PM – 4:00 PM. On Monday, July 3rd there will be a signing with manga artist Kotaro Takata happening at Kentia Hall from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM.
