NYCC 2026 tickets are nearly here! New York Comic Con will take place this year from October 8-11 at the Javits Center. If you’re a returning attendee or someone looking to go for the first time, read on to find out how and when you can get your tickets.

When NYCC 2026 Tickets Go On Sale
As in previous years, when you can get your NYCC tickets depends on a few different factors. Depending on your Superfan subscription and/or Fan Verification, you’ll be able to snag a ticket anywhere from June 3rd to June 24th.
Superfan Presale

Popverse, part of ReedPop (the NYCC showrunners), offer a subscription called “Superfan Membership”. This subscription offers a variety of perks around ReedPop’s various shows including early access to NYCC 2026 tickets.
At $125/year, the membership is not cheap, but worth it for those who absolutely want first crack at tickets. Those who are looking to get VIP tickets will likely have the best chance with this presale. The membership also entitles you to first access to celebrity guest photo ops and autographs when those are announced.
If you want to be a part of the Superfan presale, you must purchase your membership before Wednesday May 27 at 11:50pm ET. If you are a confirmed Superfan member by this time, your presale starts Wednesday, June 3 at 12pm ET. You only have 24 hours, though, as the presale ends on June 4 at 12pm ET.
It’s good to note that the VIP and 4 Day tickets available during the Superfan presale are limited in number. VIP and 4 Day will remain available for the second presale. Additionally, Superfan members are limited to 2 of each ticket type during their presale.
Fan Verification Presale

To help reduce the number of people buying tickets just to resell them, NYCC has used “Fan Verification” profiles over the past few years. Those who already have a profile with NYCC and have rolled over the profile and/or bought tickets last year are next in the presale line.
If you have a current Fan Verification profile, your presale is Sunday, June 14 at 10am ET. This is also a limited-time presale, ending Monday, June 15 at 12pm.
As a note, VIP and 4 Day passes both usually sell out during this presale. Neither of these pass types are held back for the final wave of tickets.
General On Sale
After the Superfan and already-Fan Verified presales conclude, NYCC will reopen the Fan Verification applications. To buy a ticket to NYCC you *must* have an approved Fan Verification profile. The application will be open from the afternoon of Monday, June 15 to Saturday June 20 at 11:59pm ET.
Once the application period closes, tickets will go on sale Wednesday, June 24 at 12pm ET.
Generally speaking, if tickets don’t completely sell out within a short period of time after this on sale date, NYCC will reopen Fan Verification. Last year, Fan Verification was reopened the same day that the general on-sale happened. However, this was only after Saturday, 4 Day, and VIP tickets sold out.
Prices & Types of NYCC 2026 Tickets

Prices for NYCC 2026 tickets have gone up this year, as they usually do. However, it is important to note that prices this year are *inclusive* of the service fees and taxes. Previously, the prices displayed on NYCC’s website did not include these additional fees until checkout.
What is *not* included, though, is shipping fees. Just tickets will get you a $14.50 shipping fee. If you add merch while buying your tickets, shipping will go up to $22. This is for US attendees only, though. Any international fans will need to pick up their tickets at the event.
In addition, NYCC is letting fans know that the prices seen on the site right now are “Early Bird” prices. If any tickets remain after Thursday, September 3 at 11:59pm, prices will go up the next day. So get your tickets as soon as you can.
VIP Tickets
The most, well, *VIP* experience you can have at NYCC is the VIP ticket type that gets you in all 4 days of the con. At $990.75 for 2026, the VIP ticket comes with a ton of perks. VIPs get first access to many parts of the event- including separately ticketed events and the show floor once NYCC starts.
VIP tickets also come with reserved seating for the panels that take place on the Empire and Main Stages. If you’re someone who knows you want to see as many panels as possible, this can be a huge perk. For non-VIP ticket holders, you either chance the reservation system or try for a standby spot once you get to the Javits.
A full list of perks can be seen on NYCC’s website. If you want a low-stress NYCC experience, this is likely the type of ticket you’ll want to snag- if you can! VIPs are *very* limited.
General Admission
Of course, the vast majority of us will be general admission ticket holders. These tickets still get you in the door and grant you access to all the amazing things NYCC will have in store for their 20th anniversary. With an extensive show floor, Artist Alley, and 10+ panel rooms and stages, there’s a lot to do and see that’ll be included with your ticket, too.
If you are looking to attend all 4 days of NYCC this year, the cheapest way to do that is their 4 Day Pass. This year, it is priced at $321.17.
New this year, single day tickets are priced differently based on which day you are looking to attend. These prices seem to (more or less) reflect the popularity of each day.
Thursday tends to be the quietest day of NYCC and sell out last. A ticket for this day will be $93.09.
Friday and Sunday usually offer a bit more at NYCC and either one of these days will be $98.53 each.
Saturday tends to be the most popular choice and sell out first. A NYCC 2026 Saturday ticket will be $109.42.
NYCC 2026 Kids Tickets
NYCC offers discounted tickets for children ages 6-12 so they can attend with their parent(s) or other trusted adult (who must have their own ticket!). In previous years, Kids Tickets were only offered on Sunday in conjunction with kid-specific programming offered on that day. New this year, Kids Tickets are also available on Thursday.
A Thursday Kids Ticket will be $33.21. A Sunday Kids ticket will be $49.54.
Kids Tickets are a great chance to introduce a kid in your life to NYCC without having to worry if they’ll be able to handle the entire weekend.
My recommendation would be to try for the Sunday ticket as NYCC does organize events for kids specifically on that day. It has not yet been made clear if the same will happen on Thursday this year. However, Thursday is a much quieter day of NYCC and may be great for getting to enjoy more of the show floor.

Looking Forward to NYCC 2026
As briefly mentioned before, 2026 will be the 20th Anniversary of NYCC! Though no guests or programming has been announced yet, the anticipation is that this will be a great year for New York Comic Con.
