Ambrosia Sky: Part Two Coming Fall 2026

As previously reported, Dahlia will be ending her adventures in Ambrosia Sky this year. However, we now have a definitive release date to share. Ambrosia Sky: Act Two will be release on August 6, 2026. Soft Rains, the studio behind this two part journey, released this news alongside a new trailer. The trailer can be found here.

Spraying Away

Ambrosia Sky is a “clean-em-up immersive sim”. On the surface, the comparison to Powerwash Simulator is evident. In-game, players as Dahlia come equipped with a sprayer. Her sprayer has several different settings, making cleaning up alien fungus enjoyable and oddly soothing. This fungi comes in varying types and each have their own properties and, dare I say, personalities. Cleaning isn’t the only thing Dahlia must do. Certain fungi have fruit to be harvested and used later to upgrade gear.

Fruit gleaned from varying strains of fungi allow for expansive ammunition options mimicking said fungi type. Other upgrades allow Dahlia’s sprayer to have new spray types or upgrade efficiency. Her weapon upgrades to assist in zero-G navigation as well. Dahlia’s sprayer doubles as a tether, allowing players to traverse unstable environments and discover hidden treasures in places they normally could not reach. A stronger tether means easier navigation and better options to search untouched corners.

More Than A Cleaning Sim

Beyond the meditative cleaning is a deep and emotional story. As this is Act Two, players who have not may want to circle back for Act One. If you’re interested in a review of Act One, you can find one here. Dahlia is not simply exploring “just another planet” as her role requires. She is on her home planet, The Cluster, cleaning up the invasive fungi and searching for lost loved ones in the process.

As players explore, Dahlia uncovers the truth of what happened to the people in her life. Some remain missing, leaving only clues of what may have happened. Others she lays to rest, grappling with being too late to save them. One person remains elusive in her investigations, her beloved Maeve. Teasers in the trailer hint that part of Dahlia’s story concluding is finally uncovering this mystery. Will the resolution bring joy or simply provide closure?

Ambrosia Sky: Act One was an emotional adventure full of poignant narrative. The art, music, and sound design all comes together to immerse players in The Cluster. The horror and heartbreak go hand-in-hand as you spray, tether, and harvest your way to the truth. What happened to The Cluster? What happens when you must face the destruction of your home as the solution to said destruction? Join Dahlia once more to discover these answers and many more in Ambrosia Sky: Act Two. Releasing on Steam, new players can enjoy a 20% launch discount and be able to purchase both acts for $11.99. Once the launch discount ends, the full game will cost $24.99. Players who already own Act One will receive Act Two as a free update.
