[Interview] Composer Bear McCreary at San Diego Comic-Con

From The Rings of Power to Broadway

The interview also touched upon McCreary’s work on the second season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. He hinted at exciting new musical elements, including the incorporation of a Bulgarian women’s choir.

In addition to his work in television, McCreary announced his foray into Broadway with a musical titled Particle Fever. The musical, based on a documentary about the discovery of the Higgs boson, is a testament to McCreary’s passion for science and his ability to blend his love for music with diverse subject matter.
