Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Episode 3 Recap and Review

The young crew of the Star Scraper finds themselves in constant adventure and danger in Star Wats: Skeleton Episode 3, “Very Interesting, As an Astrogation Problem”.

“Skeleton Crew” takes place in the New Republic era, following the events of “Return of the Jedi.” Jude Law stars as Jod in this exciting new series. The directing team boasts impressive talent, with episodes helmed by Jon Watts, David Lowery, and Bryce Dallas Howard. The first two episodes are now streaming on Disney+.

The episode begins with the parents of the missing children on the planet At Attin, who are desperately trying to find their kids. They are met with resistance from the authorities, who seem to be hiding something about the true nature of At Attin.  

Meanwhile, Jod and the kids are escaping from a prison on the planet Port Borgo. Jod uses his Jedi mind tricks to help them escape, but they are still missing their droid, SM-33. He goes back to rescue the droid, and they barely manage to escape the prison under fire.

Their escape takes them to a moon where they meet a new character named Kh’ymm, an owl-like creature who agrees to help them find At Attin. However, Kh’ymm is not who she seems, and she betrays Jod, revealing his true identity as Crimson Jack.  

The kids and Jod manage to escape, with the help of some impressive piloting skills from Neel, who takes the control of the ship. They use coordinates obtained from Kh’ymm to jump into hyperspace, but their destination remains uncertain.

Skeleton Crew continues to be a breath of fresh air in the Star Wars universe. The show is a fun, whimsical adventure that captures the original trilogy’s spirit while introducing new and exciting elements.  

The visuals in this episode are particularly stunning, especially the scenes on the moon with the characters silhouetted against the lunar landscape. The pacing is excellent, and the plot is moving forward at a good pace. There is no filler here, just pure Star Wars adventure.

The mystery surrounding Jod is intriguing, and the show does a great job of slowly revealing information about his past. The kids are also well-developed characters, and each has a unique personality.  

Overall, Skeleton Crew is shaping up to be a must-watch for Star Wars fans of all ages. The show is a delightful blend of action, adventure, and humor, and it will keep you entertained from beginning to end.
