Step into Planet Ardbeg, where Ardbeg 10 Years Old, Ardbeg An Oa, and Ardbeg Wee Beastie all inspired their own stories. Los Angeles Comic Con goers will experience the fully immersive 40-page sci-fi adventure. The anthology series features three stories that were based off of Ardbeg whiskeys: “Guardians of Oa,” “The Best Laid Schemes,” and Take it with a Grain of Sand.”
“The experience takes guests through halls and inlet rooms based on the graphic novel offering a fully immersive experience. The graphic novel was conceived by cartoonist Ronald Wimberly, Emma Rios and Sanford Greene., each bringing their own ideas and influence to the project. Using three expressions in Ardbeg’s Core Range as their creative launchpad, together they produced an anthology of tales as bold and unique as Ardbeg itself, featuring a land of giant botanicals and even bigger beasts. Traversing the triptych of fantastical tales is the Quantum Distiller, who journeys across time and space gathering ingredients and inspiration to concoct the ultimate dream through the three stories influenced by Ardbeg expressions.”
Guests and fans can purchase any of the three, highly influential Ardbeg whiskeys online. The graphic novel will be available for purchase at the distillery’s visitor center, at ardbeg.com and in certain comic book stores.
