The Team Fight Tactics Open and the Riftbound Regional Championship are converging in Las Vegas this December. This is a multi-day event that combines the TFT Vegas Open and the first Riftbound Regional Championship in North America under one roof. Held from December 11-13, fans who want to attend who didn’t qualify for the two main events can still enjoy plenty of side events, Artist Alley, panels, and even an after party celebration.
The First Ever Convergence Fest
We’re still months out, but you can register for the event via Fan First access here. Fan First registration goes live in August, with general registration opening in September. The three-day general admission pass gets you an exclusive commemorative Convergence Fest Riftbound card and all official co-streamer in-game drops for TFT. If you upgrade to General Admission+, you’ll also receive:
- 1 Hour early entry
- Access to a dedicated GA+ merch line
- Custom crossbody bag
- Special Edition Teemo hat
- Convergence Fest water bottle
- Convergence Fest holiday ornament.
And finally, you can also add on an invitation to DJ Sona’s post-Final closing celebration. For now, details are still mum on what this is and what to expect.
The Riftbound Regional Championship brings together the best players in the world who have placed in the top 64 of any Regional Qualifier, leading into Riftbound Worlds. It’s the highest level of competition of the game since its launch in October of last year, and will feature cards from the game’s fifth set, Radiance. The Teamfight Tactics open marks the event’s return to the United States after a three-year hiatus. This is an open-bracket style tournament that pits the best of the best against each other.
Until then, be sure to check back with Temple of Geek on July 14. We’ll be exclusively revealing a new Riftbound Vendetta card for the upcoming expansion.
