Doctor Who series 12 gets a release date and a new trailer

BBC America has finally let us know when to expect the return of the 13th Doctor! Doctor Who Series 12 will be airing New Year’s Day 2020 at 8PM ET/PT. We also have a new trailer!

BBC AMERICA’s hit action-adventure series, Doctor Who, is back! Kicking off 2020, the Thirteenth Doctor (Jodie Whittaker) returns with the launch of the latest season on Wednesday, January 1 at 8pm ET/PT, resuming her time-and-space travels with friends Ryan (Tosin Cole), Yasmin (Mandip Gill) and Graham (Bradley Walsh). Subsequent episodes will airSundays at 8pm ET/PT beginning January 5 on BBC AMERICA. Starting with a blockbuster, action-packed two-part episode entitled Spyfall, the Thirteenth Doctor is well and truly back with a bang.

Doctor Who Series 12 will then air during its regular time slot, which will be Sundays at 8PM ET/PT starting on January 5th.

BBC America also announced its first ever Doctor Who fan screening event. They partnered up with Fathom Events, and it will feature live Q & A session with Jodie Whittaker, Tosin Cole and Mandip Gill on January 5th.

Tickets and a list of participating locations will be available beginning Friday, December 6 at  the Fathom Events website.
