Anime Expo is the largest anime convention in North America, and for good reason! Run by the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA), this con has been bringing the best of anime to California since 1992. This year, the convention will be returning to the Los Angeles Convention Center—where it’s been held since 2008—from July 2nd to July 5th, and promises to bring fans another exciting weekend with panels, cosplay, and booths, including one run by Hulu.
Hulu Animayhem
During Anime Expo weekend, get ready to experience Animayhem, hosted by the popular streaming service, Hulu. The company will be taking over the convention floor with Yokocho, a high-energy anime alley brought to life, thanks to several hit anime titles available to stream on both Hulu and its bundle with Disney+.

Yokocho will draw inspiration from Tokyo’s famous alley culture, and will take attendees through an immersive corridor. Here, they’ll be able to see their favorite anime worlds collide with paper lanterns, cherry blossoms, beloved characters, and interactive moments at every turn.
Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War
To celebrate the final cour, The Calamity, of Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War, Yokocho will offer several photo opportunities. Whether you’re taking photos with a life-size standee of Ichigo, Uryu, Orihime, Chad, or Ganju, you’ll feel as if you stepped into the Soul Society, ready to fight against Yhwach and his army of Quincies. You can also capture a selfie at the keepsake station, which will be instantly delivered to you in a branded digital frame!

Naruto Classic Photo Opportunity
If you’re a fan of Naruto, you won’t want to miss visiting the troublemaking ninja’s favorite ramen restaurant! Take a seat at one of the open stools, right next to Naruto himself, and pretend you’re sharing a bowl of delicious ramen. You’ll definitely feel like you’re taking a relaxing break after an intense ninja mission.

Rooster Fighter Interactive Activity
Want to show off your awesome dance moves? Animayhem will give you that chance alongside your favorite Rooster Fighter characters. Take part in a dance challenge and—with friends or by yourself, if you’re feeling bold—and become an animated character with life-size cutouts of Keiji, Piyoko, and Elizabeth. Maybe an actual rooster mascot will join in on the fun! Afterwards, take home a recorded video keepsake to play over and over again.

Tokyo Revengers Dragon Graffiti
Discover life as a member of the Toman biker gang with an exclusive Tokyo Revengers opportunity. Here, you can stand in a full-width street and discover the incredible art this anime has to offer, as well as the legendary dragon tattoo. Take tons of photos and become part of the Tomans, without the commitment.

Mission: Yozakura Family Interactive Activity
The Yozakura Family—made famous by the series Mission: Yozakura Family—needs your help. They overslept, and you need to pack up their gear! The catch? You only have 60 seconds to do so. Work hard and fast in this collaborative puzzle-like game, making sure to pack their case correctly in this short amount of time. Once you’ve successfully completed the challenge, you’re sure to feel proud and ready to take on any obstacle!

Though I Am An Inept Villainess Photo Opportunity
The Maiden Court is waiting for you at Animayhem. In this iconic location, featured in Though I Am An Inept Villainess, you can meet Kou Reirin and Shu Keigetsu and decide where your loyalty lies. Will you stand alongside the beautiful and frail, Kou, or will you find your destiny with the jealous and hateful, Shu? Once you know your answer, you will be placed on side of the Maiden Court for an unforgettable photo.

Undead Unluck: Winter Arc Photo Opportunity
Undead Unluck: Winter Arc is coming Animayhem, and with it a photo opportunity you don’t want to miss. Exhibit your bravery and face off with Apocalypse, a hostile and sadistic book that always has something on its mind. Take a photo, and try not to get whisked into the deadly confrontation that awaits in the Winter Arc!
