Prime Video Pairs ‘The Rings of Power’ Season 3 and ‘Blade Runner 2099’ for SDCC 2026

Prime Video is taking over San Diego Comic-Con’s (SDCC) biggest stage with a powerhouse double-feature panel pairing the high fantasy of Middle-earth with the gritty cyberpunk dystopia of futuristic Los Angeles. On Friday, July 24, Hall H will host an exclusive, 90-minute presentation showcasing The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season Three and the highly anticipated new series Blade Runner 2099.

The mega-panel marks the first major public look at Blade Runner 2099, an extension of the iconic sci-fi film franchise executive produced by Ridley Scott and starring Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer. Alongside it, the cast and executive producers of The Rings of Power will take the stage to preview the escalating war for Middle-earth in Season Three.

Attendees can expect exclusive footage, behind-the-scenes insights into the massive production scales of both shows, and what Prime Video promises will be “thrilling surprises” reserved strictly for the Hall H audience.
