D23 2026 tickets for their Ultimate Disney Fan Event are going on sale soon! Taking place from August 14-16, 2026, the event will have something for every Disney fan. Read on to find out when tickets go on sale, how you can get your hands on them, and what ticket types will be available.

How and When to get D23 2026 Tickets

Tickets for D23’s 2026 event will go on sale on Thursday, April 2nd. However, exactly what time you can purchase the ticket is dependent on what type of D23 fan club membership you have. Unlike previous years, those purchasing tickets must be D23 Gold Members. You do not have to personally be a Gold Member to attend, but whoever is purchasing your ticket must be one.

How to Become a Gold Member

D23, if you didn’t already know, is the official Disney fan club. They offer free memberships, but for this event you must be a Gold level member.

Gold members do get perks other than just access to tickets to the Ultimate Disney Fan Event 2026. You also get deals and savings throughout the year and access to other D23 events.

The easiest (and cheapest!) way to get a Gold membership is to be a Disney+ subscriber. One of the perks included with your subscription is a complimentary Gold Member Monthly Plan. You do need to activate this perk by visiting the perks page on Disney+ to be considered a Gold member, though. It’s not automatic! More about this later, but Gold members on this plan will have slightly later access to tickets than others.

If you want to get a little more out of a Gold membership, there are three tiers available: Essential, Choice, and Complete. The only real difference between these (outside of the price) is what items you get included with your membership.

All of these options come with a basic welcome kit. This includes a member card, a pin, a magnet, a Disney Lorcana card, and a discount voucher for a D23 event. Choice and Complete plans include additional items that you can select when you sign up. You can get more information on D23’s website here.

When Tickets Go On Sale

As already stated, D23 2026 tickets will go on sale on April 2nd, 2026. What time you’ll be able to join the queue for tickets is dependent on what level of membership you have.

If you are a Essential, Choice, or Complete Plan level (i.e.- the paid Gold Membership levels), you can purchase your tickets at 10 am PT/1pm ET on April 2nd.

For those using the complimentary Gold Membership via their Disney+ subscription, you can purchase your tickets starting at 12pm PT/3pm ET on April 2nd.

In addition to the free version of the Gold Membership, Disney+ is offering 20% off any other Gold types. If you want to upgrade to get your tickets sooner, that is the way to do it. D23 is not holding additional tickets back for the 12pm PT/3pm ET on-sale time. Recently, this event has been selling out very quickly. So if you are determined to attend, the upgrade may be worth it.

One more note: D23 Gold Charter Members do get even earlier access to tickets. However, these are Gold Membership level holders who have been enrolled in the fan club since it started in 2009. D23 Gold Charter Members get access to tickets on March 31 at 10am PT.

D23 2026 Tickets Types

So you know when tickets go on sale. But what ticket type will be right for you? Following the 2024 event’s pattern, there will be a lot of options. Especially with the continued addition of night events at the Honda Center!

For a quick idea of prices, they start at $49 (single day evening-only access to the Anaheim Convention Center) and go to $2,599 (all the bells and whistles and the best seats). Additionally, you are limited to six tickets total when making your purchase- regardless of the type.

D23 Fan Pass: Anaheim Convention Center ONLY

The D23 Fan Pass is the most basic and cheapest ticket type available for the event. This grants you access only to the events taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center. This includes panels taking place at the ACC and the show floor and shops there as well.

New this year is a Day PM Pass. This $49 ticket gets you in to one day of the event after 4pm. Something to note, though, is that this ticket type will not allow you to participate in any reservation systems for panels, giveaways, or experiences. This is a decent time to check out the event, however. Many who will be attending the evening events at the Honda Center will have left by this time.

If you want to go to a full single day of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, the D23 Fan Pass is $99 a day.

For those wishing to attend all 3 days at the Anaheim Convention Center, those passes will be $297 each.

The experiences and panels at the Anaheim Convention Center are a lot of fun! Panels include topics such as anniversaries for shows and movies, presentations from the Disney Archives, and other special interest topics. Plus, this is where the Mousequerade, Disney’s own costume contest, takes place. The show floor is also very interactive with many photo-ops and displays from across the company’s portfolio. You really can get a full and fun experience even if you just attend the daytime events here!

D23 Ultimate Fan Pass: Convention Center and Evening Presentations

If you want to attend the evening programming at the Honda Center (aka the BIG big panels!), you’ll want to get the D23 Ultimate Fan Pass ticket. The prices for these tickets get a little more tricky, though, and are dependent on where you want to sit in the Honda Center.

These tickets will get you access to both events at the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center. So it is, as stated, the Ultimate experience for the weekend!

But what exactly happens at the Honda Center?

For Friday (August 14), you’ll see the Disney Entertainment Showcase. This includes announcements for movies, TV shows, and even live theater! In 2024, attendees got first looks at projects such as “The Mandalorian and Grogu” and “Daredevil: Born Again” season 1. My personal favorite was a phenomenal performance from multiple shows produced by Disney Theatrical Productions.

On Saturday (August 15) is the Disney Experiences Showcase. This will include news and announcements for Disney Parks around the world, Disney Cruise Line, and video game projects. Last time saw news about new areas coming to Disneyland and Walt Disney World. This included the “Avatar” land planned for the California park and the Disney Villains’ Land coming to WDW among others.

Closing out the weekend on Sunday (August 16) is the Disney Legends Ceremony. This ceremony honors employees from across Disney for their contributions to the company. Honorees can be anyone from the actors in their shows and movies to Imagineers and Cast Members in the parks. In the past, these awards are accompanied by performances pertaining to those being awarded. For example, the 2024 class of Legends included John Williams and a medley of his greatest compositions was played by a live orchestra.

Ultimate Fan Pass Pricing For D23 2026 Tickets

D23 has provided some handy charts for the pricing breakdown for the Ultimate Fan Pass ticket types. First, the prices.

The price of the Ultimate Fan Pass is dependent on how many days you want to go and where you wish to sit within the Honda Center. Here is the chart that gives you a rough idea of where the seats in each of these tiers are located. When you purchase your ticket(s), you will also get to choose your seat(s) within the tier that you’ve bought. For three day tickets, your seat will be the same for each day.

If you want a breakdown of what specific sections of the Honda Center will be available for which ticket types, that information is available on D23’s very detailed ticket purchasing guide. But for quick reference, it does seem that there are more sections available for single day tickets than three-day tickets.

If you’d like some personal experience, I did attend the 2024 event including the Honda Center presentations. Section 438, row K, seat 12 to be exact- the row closest to the front of that section within the lowest price tier for that year.

With the giant screens to either side of the stage and the scale of the production, I did not miss a single thing. If they keep the same setup for the 2026 presentations, too, there is also a smaller secondary stage about halfway back in the floor seats that I had a great view of. Additionally, D23 used light-up bracelets handed out to all attendees and being up that high and a bit further back made the show even more magical!

Yes, you can spend the extra money and get closer. But if you just want to be in the room, the lower priced tickets are worth it and work just fine.

Will You Be Getting D23 2026 Tickets?
