Danai Gurira to star in The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live
Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira return in an epic new chapter of The Walking Dead universe: The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. The Ones Who Live, premiering February 25th on AMC and AMC+, throws Rick Grimes and Michonne into a world transformed. Separated by unknown forces, they battle walkers and human threats, questioning their identities and fighting for survival. Will their love endure amidst this perilous landscape? Are they destined to be allies or enemies, victims or victors?
Gurira spoke briefly about her excitement for everyone to see the new series. “It’s a partnership between myself and Andy Lincoln, every time he flies in tomorrow, we start to present it to the world. And that’s really, really, really exciting. We definitely wanted to tell this particular story, and I think the journey of this character, I could never have imagined when I came in 12 years ago, you could never have imagined that it could have gone where it’s going to end and become what it became. I’m really, really thankful for the journey that this woman has been on.”
