Crunchyroll held the 2024 Crunchyroll Anime Awards celebrating excellence in Japanese animation. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 won numerous awards, including Anime of the Year, presented by Megan Thee Stallion. Here are the Anime Award 2024 winners.

Jujustu Kaisen season 2 was broken up into two arcs. The first five episodes are titled “Hidden Inventory/Premature Death” and the rest of the season is about “The Shibuya Incident.” During the first five episodes, fans caught a glimpse into Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto’s high school days and what ultimately led to the two of them going their separate ways. “The Shibuya Incident” brings viewers to the present and follows the disasters created by cursed spirit Kenjaku and Sukuna, the King of Curses, in Shibuya, Japan.

Jujustu Kaisen season 2 won multiple Anime Awards this year. These awards include:

  • Best Character Design – Sayaka Koiso, Tadashi Hiramatsu for Hidden Inventory/Premature Death

  • Best Director – Shota Goshozono, Hidden Inventory/Premature Death
  • Best Ending Sequence – “Akari” by Soshi Sakiyama for Hidden Inventory/Premature Death
  • Best Opening Sequence – “Where Our Blue Is” by Tatsuya Kitani for Hidden Inventory/Premature Death
  • Best Supporting Character – Satoru Gojo – Hidden Inventory/Premature Death
  • Best Voice Actor Performance (French) – Martial Le Minoux, Suguru Geto – Hidden Inventory/Premature Death
  • Best Voice Actor Performance (Japanese) – Yuichi Nakamura, Satoru Gojo – Hidden Inventory/Premature Death
  • Best Voice Actor Performance (Brazilian Portuguese) – Léo Rabelo, Satoru Gojo – Hidden Inventory/Premature Death

The Rest of the Anime Award 2024 Winners

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc, Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 1, Spy x Family Season 1 Cour 2, and Chainsaw Man were also anime award 2024 winners of multiple awards. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc won Best Animation, Best Art Direction, and Best FantasyAttack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 1 took home awards for Best Drama and Best ScoreSpy x Family Season 1 Cour 2 received anime awards for Best Comedy and “Must Protect At All Cost” Character through Anya Forger. Chainsaw Man won the awards for Best New Series, Best Voice Actor Performance (Castilian) with Joel Gómez Jimenez as Denji, Best Voice Actor Performance (English) with Ryan Colt Levy as Denji, Best Voice Actor Performance (German) with Franziska Trunte as Power, Best Voice Actor Performance (Italian) with Mosè Singh as Denji, and Best Voice Actor Performance (Latin Spanish) with Emilio Treviño as Denji.
