The EH Game Expo was held in Kingston on July 3rd until the 5th at Slush Puppie Place. Though this was the first year of the convention, it was a great starting point! The event took place in the main arena of the venue, and was filled with artists, vendors, and gaming setups. The gaming setups had current titles, as well as various indie games. There were also gaming tournaments going on all weekend, and on the main stage as well. 

There were cosplayers sharing their work, and on the side stage there were different panels from cosplayers, and other local celebrities such as Dave Fawcett, who has the largest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collection. Also in attendance were The Toronto Ghostbusters, whose Stay Puft could be seen looming large from one side of the hall. 

All-in-all though EH Game Expo was a smaller convention, it was nice being able to spend time talking with vendors and artists, and not feeling overwhelmed. This was a great first year for EH Game Expo, and we’re looking forward to what the next year will bring.
