Lionsgate has announced major musical details for the upcoming franchise expansion, putting the spotlight directly on The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (The Album) and its lead single. Fans of both the franchise and folk-pop music have a lot to look forward to this fall, starting with Noah Kahan’s highly anticipated song “Draw You Out,” which is set to release on October 2 and is currently available to pre-save on Spotify and Apple Music.
Following the release of the lead single, the full companion record, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (The Album), will arrive on November 13. This musical rollout builds heavy momentum just ahead of the film’s theatrical debut on November 20, 2026.

The next installment in the blockbuster franchise, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. Set 24 years before the events of the original The Hunger Games, the film is slated to hit theaters everywhere on November 20, 2026.
Directed by acclaimed director Francis Lawrence, the film adapts Suzanne Collins’ best-selling novel. It follows sixteen-year-old Haymitch Abernathy (played by Joseph Zada) from District 12 on the morning of the reaping for the 50th Annual Hunger Games—also known as the Second Quarter Quell. As the biggest Games yet, with twice as many tributes, Haymitch enters the arena, where he forms an unlikely alliance with fellow tribute Maysilee Donner (Mckenna Grace). Together, they join a coalition aimed at challenging the Capitol’s control under President Snow (Ralph Fiennes), setting the stage for a rebellion that changes Panem forever.
The film is produced by Nina Jacobson p.g.a., Brad Simpson p.g.a., and Francis Lawrence p.g.a., with a screenplay written by Billy Ray and Michael Lesslie. It features a star-studded main cast including Joseph Zada, Jesse Plemons, Ralph Fiennes, Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin, Elle Fanning, Mckenna Grace, Maya Hawke, Whitney Peak, and Kelvin Harrison Jr. At present, the film is not yet rated.
