About Rory Williams:
Rory Arthur Williams is THE dream guy of many (including me). Who else would wait 2000 years outside a box to protect the person he loves? Speaking of 2000 years, every Whovian (Doctor Who fans) has wondered what he experienced during that time. Yet we only got brief insights as Amy strolled through the museum. This will change as we’ll find out very soon from the man himself what adventures he went through. Big Finish Audio announced a full-cast audio series with Arthur Darvill reprising his role in his very own Doctor Who spin-off.
About his adventures:
“The Lone Centurion” will be available in volumes one and two. The first one will contain three stories named “Gladiator,” “The Unwilling Assassin,” and “I, Rorius” (no information about volume two is available yet). Finally, we will learn in detail about Rory’s time guarding the Pandorica. We will see how hard he fights to keep his Amy safe while the Doctor is up and away.
“Legend tells of the Lone Centurion — a mysterious figure dressed as a Roman soldier who stood guard over the Pandorica, warning off those who would attempt to open it; a constant warrior whose story appeared in the folk history of a dozen civilisations.”
Respectively, the stories will be about Rory finding the Pandorica again after he “misplaced” her for some unknown reason. Isn’t that so Rory-like?
About the Release:
Finally, Whovians will get answers to their questions about Rory’s time guarding the Pandorica. The little off-screen gap from the end of Series 5 can hopefully be closed. Unfortunately, we need to wait until May 2021 and July 2022 for the audios to be released. At least it’s not 2000 years! More information can be found over at Big Finish.
