Anime Expo 2023 Cosplay Meetups

Anime Expo (AX) is coming to the Los Angeles Convention Center on July 1st through the 4th. This convention brings incredible cosplayers from around the world. Throughout the weekend, fans host meetups of their favorite fandoms for cosplayers to gather. Here are the current Anime Expo 2023 cosplay meetups on the schedule.

Anime Expo 2023 Cosplay Meetups

Cosplay, or “costume play,” is a form of expressing someone’s love for a particular character within a series or movie. Convention attendees will dress up as their favorite character and enjoy the convention and what it offers while in cosplay. It is a great way to build community. Cosplay is in no way a requirement to attend a convention, but it does make it more enjoyable for a lot of people.

Anime Expo has nine cosplay gathering sites. Each location can be found on their map on the gatherings page. All meetups are subject to change, and more could be added leading up to the convention.
